Writing is one of the most perfect ways that society has to communicate, it makes the word static, transmits it and makes it transcend, giving rise to the text. The simple forms of letters used by a community in a certain space and time contain a model of life, organization, social, political, economic, religious realities, in short, they also include the use that that society makes of what is written.
In that sense, the Castilian forms of written expression of the late 15th century and early 16th century in their different modalities, were introduced by the Spanish after the conquest of Mexico in 1521, which meant, among other issues, the establishment of the legal and administrative institutions under the model established by the Crown of Castile and the influence of its culture and language.
