Post April 1918 Nicaragua. "Parece Una República" by Francisco Larios traces a political, poetic and personal allegory that crosses the notions of belonging and homeland. On the one hand, the song of the exiled, of the one who wonders about his origin and root. On the other, the review of personal and collective history, which allows us to fix the portrait of the father or grandfather anchoring the truth in them. Opposite it, in the verb seem resides the poetics of the tragic error, the Aristotelian hamartia by which the present is a face in which violence has remained entrenched and failed or lost revolutions are witnessed.
