This work is based on the native roots of the people of Diriamba, Nicaragua.
El Güegüense, is a dramatic comedy, written in Nahuatl (lingua franca) and Spanish, represented since the 18th century, by the indigenous or mestizo Indian descendants of the ancient Chorotegas or Mangues of the Manguesa region (currently Diriamba, Nicaragua).
