Simón Bolívar's work has been published almost in its entirety. Only a few letters remain unpublished, mostly in private files, and perhaps one or another document. This is the case of some of the letters that are now presented to the public: those that he sent to Tomás Cipriano de Mosquera between August 1826 and March 15, 1830, and which remain in custody in the Historical Archive of the University of Cauca. And what better pretext than to inaugurate the POSTERIS LVMEN Collection with this correspondence. Some letters that, as Fernando Cruz Kronfly, the prologue writer, says, are documents to approach the last part of his mature and older biography as a warrior, liberator and human being, in the manner of a great final synthesis, because in them, His hopes rest forever, his desperate messianism for the salvation of the homelands.
