This work refers to the copal artifacts in the offerings of the Templo Mayor de Tenochtitlan (TMT), among others; highlights the historical and ethnographic relevance of the ritual use of that resin, in time and its cultural significance, among various gifts of offering, in accordance with the agricultural cycle of corn, sustenance and well-being of Mesoamerican societies. These antecedents support the study and comparison of the gifts of two offerings, the pre-Hispanic 102 of the TMT and the rain request of Temalacatzingo, Guerrero. The data obtained express the cultural continuity of honor and reverence for divine entities with rich oblations, begging them for their mediation to ensure rain, development and agricultural production, in accordance with the reciprocal god-human behavior that governs the balance, the dynamism and coherence of the universe that both inhabit, where life is a consequence of death, according to the Mesoamerican worldview. The riches offered vary; some survive, although reworked, such as the reproductions of the gods in mass of amaranth (tzoalli), which evoke the creation, honor and sacrifice to the water deities and the war for the Mexica, to later consume them as meat and bones of the god. Ahuehuete, copal, yauhtli, jícara, cultivated seeds, etc., are offering elements of pre-Hispanic tradition. the honor and sacrifice to the water deities and the war for the Mexica, to later consume them as the god's flesh and bones.
