A revolution from the affections: that is the main proposal of this book, which interweaves the principles of social anarchism with the desire to extend the scope of the political to the forms we give to our relationships.
The contemporary formulations of this "relational anarchy" were originally concretized in Sweden during the first decade of the 21st century, but draw not only from the long tradition of anarchism, but also from contributions from sociology, anthropology, feminism, queer theory and non-monogamous activisms.
When the revolutionary perspectives seem to have moved beyond the horizon, the challenge of relational anarchy is to build from below networks of affections and ways of taking care of ourselves, models of coexistence with those who accompany us, according to the same ideals that we would like to govern in society, overcoming regulations, inherited power and authority structures and stereotyped control mechanisms.
