"Bombo, el reaparecido" is an investigation on Bombo Ávalos, a rural guerrilla soldier who was born in the mid-twentieth century in a sugar region of Tucumán. Before he turned eighteen he joined the People's Revolutionary Army and reached the rank of captain. He was one of the most wanted fighters and, for a long time, the most elusive. In 1976 the military managed to kidnap him and never heard of him again. Until 2013, when he fleetingly reappeared in his native Saint Lucia. This work explores the mystery of whether or not the enigmatic figure is still alive.
