"Renovación urbana" examines the global phenomenon of urban renewel and its linkage to neoliberal capitalism and urban policies, particularly seeking to understand changes in parts of Mexico City, where the phenomenon of urban renewal is manifested in a very intense way -- namely, the Historic Center and the central part of the city. The work critically reflects on the selective revaluation of various urban spaces, and the conflicts and inequalities that this creates for different groups of inhabitants and their ways of living. The work is divided into two main parts: "El centro histórico: discursos y tensiones en torno a su 'rescate'" and "Modos de habitar y desigualidades en la ciudad central"
