In "Vuelo de cuervos", a young poet is ordered to document a dangerous military mission consisting of the violent and forced evacuation of Miskito Indians from their ancestral habitat in the Nicaragua to an area named, ironically, Tasba Pri, which in the Miskito language means "Free Land". The destruction and violence creates a fissure that separates and divides the group between those who want to confront the counterrevolutionary aggression financed by the United States, and those who think that the same revolution is planting the seed of its own annihilation. This work illuminates the darkness of the Sandinista revolution.
