"El momento ultraísta: Orígenes, fundación y lanzamiento de un movimiento de vanguardia" is a study on the first phase of the ultraist movement, a literary movement born in Spain in 1918, detailing its history and development. The book is organized around four central figures: Ramón Gómez de la Serna, Rafael Cansinos Assens, Guillermo de Torre and Vicente Huidobro, as well as two literary magazines: "Cervantes" and "Grecia", which featured the ultraists' work. This investigation is based on documentation from newspapers and magazines in circulation during the time, as well as correspondences between writers who belonged to the group. Simultaneously, this work critically examines the most influential aspects of the movement's history and places it within the broader framework of the European avant-garde movement.
