"Las diosas sometidas. Autoconcepto en mujeres de grupos vulnerables" discusses the results of a study on the perceptions and self-perceptions of sixteen women who live with HIV. Eight of these women work as sexual workers. The quantitative part of the research was conducted through a standardized instrument called the Five Factor Self-Concept Questionnaire (AF5). Two techniques of data collection were also used: semi-structured socio-economic interviews and focus groups. The findings regarding self-perception indicate most of the women in the group suffer from depression.
