"El libro de la desobediencia" is a novel that takes place in a bloody, magical and imaginary Japan. The story centers around palatial intrigues; assassinations; fights for the possession of Tanoshi, who is favored by the bloody Emperor, and is kidnapped and seduced by the sensei Miniki (a supreme priestess of the Temple of Poetry); and the wanderings of Neko Wal, a tattoo artist who is an apprentice of Hokusai, a famous Japanese painter. Together they narrate the glories and miseries of the legendary Okoshi Oshura, a disobedient and wise writer, a variety of adventures, and the stunts of bizarre and lukewarm nymphs who practice the delicate Zen art of eroticism.
