"Borges y los otros" cycle organized annually by the Jorge Luis Borges International Foundation, aims to promote the best and most widespread dissemination of the Argentine writer's work, promote cultural exchange with Institutions, Libraries, Education Centers, National Universities or Foreign, Estate or Private and generate culture in all its manifestations. This book contains a selection of plenary lectures and papers presented by national and foreign specialists who have met to exchange their experiences around the figure of the Argentine author during the years 2004, 2005, and 2006. The dissertations, of indole extremely diverse, relate the work of Borges with different fields of culture. Some stop in poetry or Borgesian prose to dive in their labyrinths. But all undoubtedly emphasize the fervent passion that the work of Borges awakens to scholars of the poetic fact in all its manifestations.
