With the publication of this fifth catalog of the series, El Colegio de Sinaloa wants to make known to specialists and the general public, the existence of an important historical collection, the Porfirio Díaz Collection (CPD) that holds the Francisco Xavier Clavigero Library of the Universidad Iberoamericana, properly classified and preserved. This fund has around 800,000 documents, including: photographs, printed matter, brochures, newspapers and letters; the latter correspond both to personalities of the Porfirian regime, and to the people in general; as well as distinguished diplomats and investors. This material includes the period from 1823 to 1916, being the period from 1876 to 1911 the one that contains most of the information.
