"Lemebel" is a collection of critical essays on Chilean writer Pedro Lemebel's work, written by Chilean sociologist Soledad Bianchi. Bianchi met Lemebel in the mid-eighties, when he was still Pedro Mardones, a young Plastic Arts professor who had just begun to work on his first texts. An intense friendship and an admirable intellectual exchange arose between them. She was one of the first people to read and study his work, and understand it. These texts are also a record of this friendship and deep connection.
